Farbod Malek, MD

Dr. Malek's interest in orthopaedic surgery sparked during medical school. Shortly after, he spent time at the University of California San Francisco performing research in stem cells.
Dr. Malek started his clinical training at the University of Southern California, then moved to San Antonio in 2007. He continued his training at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed his fellowship after he moved to New York to work at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Dr. Malek came back to San Antonio in 2012 and decided to start his own practice and help his community and its people.
