Sara Lyons PA-C is a proud graduate of the United States Airforce Academy where she was handpicked to serve in the elite athletic training program as a hammer thrower. Through this training she earned herself a spot to assist in the preparations and training for the 2012 Olympic Games. She later earned the spot as a 2022 U.S. Air Force Academy Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee.
As an Air Force Academy student she earned her place on The Dean's List, earned the Commandant's Military Honors and Athletic Honors List.
Upon graduation she served our country as an Air Force Communications Officer and later as an Operations Flight Deputy Commander.
After having the honor of serving our country Sara decided it was time to now our community as a health care provider. She took time to shadow an orthopaedic physician assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston,MA. There she observed how a physician assistant works autonomously and consulted with physicians and nurse practicioners in a prestigious sports medicine clinic.
It was at this clinic that she was able to have the opportunity to experience high level sports medicine care for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB team providers.
Sara is happily married to a current U.S. Air Force officer whom which she shares the love and enjoyment of raising their three children.
